Mary started riding in Texas, on the family farm, at 3. Here she started her riding skills on her lamb! At 13 she became assistant trainer under the guidance of Sissy Steffen at the famous Will Rogers State park facility, (then to Far West Farms) Here, over the next 8 years, she was classically trained in the equitation arts, english equi
Mary started riding in Texas, on the family farm, at 3. Here she started her riding skills on her lamb! At 13 she became assistant trainer under the guidance of Sissy Steffen at the famous Will Rogers State park facility, (then to Far West Farms) Here, over the next 8 years, she was classically trained in the equitation arts, english equitation, hunter under saddle and over fences, jumping, 3 day eventing that included first level dressage. She also trained horses and riders, taught classes, clinics and camps, and all of this she loved! Mary professionally rode for and was sponsored by some of Hollywood royalty, competing and winning in National and World Shows. These eclectic experiences also include caring for Polo Ponies, off season, at The Kilohana Estate, on Kauai, Hawaii, owner and operator of own show barn called Monroe Show Horses in Washington State, and diving into a bit of western riding as well. Mary's clients were winning, but even more important, having lots and lots of fun!

Lilo is our PRA mascot. Always around with a cuddle and a smile for our riders.
Being a Boston, of course she has tons of energy, and is an expert at making everyone crack up!

A beautiful gentle giant, Bear is a teenager quarter horse. Sweet and a great listener, she will help you learn and always try her best. She will tell you she carries around the Big peoples and the Littles helping them become confident while stretching the more advanced toward becoming better and better!
Like all horses, Bear being no exception, she make us better humans.

Everybody knows Merida is a cuddle bug. She'll be the first to greet you when you walk into the barn. Bear's mini-me, she's willing and wants to do her best to work with her riders to have a great experience.

Our sweet boy. The only thing he will wrangle is his way into your heart AND a kiss or a pet and a hug or two! This big red gorgeous boy is our beloved teenager, full of trials and treasure for us humans. We just love him and so will you! He is our double registered quarter horse paint!

Wranglers wanna be protégée but totally holds her own! We all just lovingly call her pony and are envious of her hair-do! She reminds us that really, there are no bad hair days! Just fun! And no one really needs a Brazilian blowout, just be yourself she says!

He was named Fast, but lucky for us, he was SLOW! Little turtle! He never really had the Go. Our little beauty, our little Seabiscut, Shiny, dappled black beauty you are and are honored to be in the presence of our Prince off the track Thoroughbred.
